Seattle

Beautiful Seattle I went to Seattle twice already, and both were different seasons (winter and summer). I was blessed to have sunny days, and I'm not afraid of a little rain because it pours hard in Louisiana. I preferred winter because there was no lines at the public market.  It felt awesome in the summer though, and I finally tried Molly Moon ice cream. It is sooo good. I ate one scoop of Stumptown coffee ice cream. I went to a Mediterranean restauraunt and the food was authentic. Love the hummus. Petra Bistro 2501 4th Ave I recommend checking out Chihuly museum by the space needle especially on a rainy day. These are a few of my favorite things: Seattle is huge. You won't be able to visit every neighborhood. What to see, yes these are touristy things: Get on the ferry and go to Bainbridge Island Space Needle Chihuly  Public Market - there is so much to see here! Post Alley has the gum wall Molly Moo...

Chicago trip

Chicago my art city! I'm from Louisiana, so it is a big deal for me to travel in a subway. For those who don't know there is a subway connected to the O'Hare Chicago airport. The best part is to experience art right away! I didn't see it until I was on my way back to depart. It is a rainbow that lights up and you can glide through on the autowalk. It is located between United Concourse B and C. It is known as a neon walkway created by Michael Hayden.   The Art Institue of Chicago- this museum is a beauty. You can check in your bag. It is massive and has some of the best artists.          Millenium Park this is the place with the cloud also known as the bean. There is a ice skating rink during the winter. Also some cool water spitting art. Christmas Kindlemarket-  I was so impressed with this christmas market. I didn't think I was going to be able to find it. There was some good potato cakes with apple...

Oh Portland

3 days in Portland My first impression of Portland was to expect hipsters everywhere. I saw some hipsters, but not everywhere. I actually saw a lot of homeless people downtown. What is the definition of a hipster anyway? Positives of my trip: I experienced some of the best customer service all through Portland. Calling all coffee lovers! Good news! There are so many coffee shops in Portland, and it will bring you great joy to just turn and see one across the street at all times during your trip. Also, there are so many places to eat, and locals appear physically healthy. I don't know how they stay in shape, but Portland is like New Orleans when it comes to being stocked with restaurants. I didn't experience any motion sickness from the road trip from Idaho. That is a miracle, because somehow I always do elsewhere. The Oregon views are lovely! Truly nothing a picture can express. When you stand in front of the mountains full of green and just look and take it...
